ஆனையின் அழுகுரல்

எனதருமை நண்பர்களே! என்கதை கேளுங்கள்!

ஆனையின் குரலது அழுகுரல் ஆனகதை!

எழில் கொஞ்சும் கானகமே என் வீடு!

எண்ணிலடங்கா உயிரினங்களே என் உறவு!

சுதந்திரப் பறவையாய் சுற்றி வந்தேன்!

சூழ்நிலை மாறும் என்னும் செய்தி அறியேன்!

தாயாகும் ஆசையினை நெஞ்சில் சுமந்து,

என்னுயிர்க் கருவினை வயிற்றில் சுமக்கிறேன்!

வழிநெடும் கானகத்தில் வழிமாறி திரிந்து,

விதியின் முடிவினை விரைவில் அடைந்தேன்!

புதியதொரு விந்தை உலகம் கண்முன்னே தென்பட்டது!

ஆங்காங்கே மரங்கள் விந்தை இயந்திரங்கள்!

இதுதான் கிராமமோ? இதுவரை கண்டதில்லை!

யாரிந்த உயிரினங்கள் இருகால்களில் நடக்கிறார்கள்!

இவர்கள்தான் மனிதர்களோ? கேட்டதுண்டு இவர்கள் பற்றி!

விந்தை உலகில் உலவித் திரிந்தேன்!

கருவில் இருக்கும் என் கண்மணியே!

காண்பாய் என் புதிய தோழர்களை!

கிராமம் என்னும் இவ்விடம் இன்னொரு வீடு!

மனிதர் என்னும் இவர்கள் இன்னொரு சொந்தம்!

நன்றி மறவாதே எந்நாளும்! நமை வாழவைப்பர் எப்போதும்!

நம்மால் இயன்ற உதவியினை, இனிதுடன் செய்வோம் இவர்களுக்கு!

ஆனை குலத்தின் சில அவதூறு செய்தி அறிந்தேன்!

பயிர்களைச் சேதப்படுத்தும் பயங்கரம் அறிந்தேன்!

எந்நாளும் அதைச் செய்வதில்லை என்றே சபதம் செய்தேன்!

எல்லா உயிர்களையும் காக்க முன்வருவேன் என்றேன்!

நாட்கள் உருண்டோடின நண்பர்கள் பெருகினர்!

நலமுடன் வாழ்ந்து வந்தேன் புதியதொரு உலகில்!

எமன்போல் வந்தது அந்த பாதக நாள்!

என்னுயிர் பறிக்கும் கரிய கொடிய நாள்!

வயிற்றுப் பசியில் உணவைத் தேடிய என் கண்கள்!

கண்டுகொண்டது வீதியோர அன்னாசிப் பழத்தினை!

இறைவனுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லி எடுத்தேன் துதிக்கையில்!

பசியாறும் எண்ணத்தில் விரும்பியே உண்டேன்!

மென்று உண்ணும் நேரத்தில் திடிரென்று சத்தம்!

உயிர்போகும் வலியையும் முதன்முறை உணர்ந்தேன்!

கண்ணிமைக்கும் நொடியினில் கரைந்தோடும் உதிரம்!

காதோரம் கதறும் என் சிசுவின் அழுகுரல்!

வலியினில் பிளிறிக் கொண்டு கிராமத்தைச் சுற்றி வந்தேன்!

இக்கொடிய வேதனையின் வலியை விட,

காப்பாற்ற முடியாமல் கதிகலங்கி நின்றேன்!

கண்ணெதிரில் உணவிருந்தும் உண்ண முடியா நிலை!

கலங்கிடும் கண்கள்! கதறிடும் நெஞ்சம்!

நடக்கவும் தெம்பில்லை! நெஞ்சில் உறுதியில்லை!

ஆனை பலம் என்பர் அனைத்தையும் இழந்தேன் நான்!

இறுதியில் ஓர் எண்ணம்! இதயத்தில் தோன்றியது!

இன்னுயிர் நீங்கும் வரை வலிதீர அது உதவும்!

தேடினேன் நீரோடையை நாடினேன் அதன் உதவியை!

பூமித்தாய் நீரின் வடிவில் வருடியே வலி தீர்த்தாள்!

இவ்வுலகம் காணா என் பிஞ்சினை உடனழைத்து,

இன்னுயிர் நீத்திடும் பாதையதில் பயணித்தேன்!

அன்னையே உன் கதறல் என் காதில் ஒலிக்கிறது

எனை எண்ணி கலங்காதே என்கிறது என்சிசு!

கலங்கேன் கண்மணியே கண்ணில் வைத்துக் காப்பேன்!

என்னுடன் வந்திடு! வேண்டாம் இவ்வுலகம் தனியே நீ தவித்திட!

இறைவா உன்னிடம் ஓர் விண்ணப்பம் வைக்கின்றேன்!

எனைப்போல் இன்னோர் உயிர் வதைபட வேண்டாம் இவ்வுலகில்!

உயிர்களை வதைக்கா மனதினை என்றும்,

மனிதர்க்கு வழங்கி மனம்மாறச் செய்வாய்!

எல்லாம் இருண்டது இதுவே இறுதிநாள்!

இயற்கை அன்னையிடம் இனிதே விடைபெறுகிறேன்!

வா என்கண்ணே! செல்வோம் புதுஉலகம்!
