BLOCKED TO UNBLOCK

BLOCKED

The word blocked means obstructing something in the way. There are many ways people can block us in our personal life and in social media. Same way there are reasons for God to block certain blessings in our life to create us into the best version.

We don’t realize that we must learn and correct us. Most of the time our blessings are blocked for us to get prepared mentally, physically and spiritually to be stronger to receive a  greater blessing. When we are put into certain positions and when we are not ready, there is always a delay period in life. That delay is to create us into the best version in our life to develop us.

How do we take our blocking season?

Becoming emotional and over thinking makes us weak and finally we end  up wasting our time.

Instead, why don’t we try to see the things that should be done to correct and improve us. So that we can learn from our mistake.

What are the changes that take place during blocking period?

God prepares us for a greater blessing by temporarily blocking certain things or people from our life. We may feel it’s the right time to have certain things but we are not prepared fully to receive the gift or position from God. So, God gives us this period of time in creating us so that we can live a better life which will fulfill His purpose.

Believe, it will change our life to reflect Christ in us.

Let’s take the life of Rachel, the wife of Jacob. She was jealous of her sister (Genesis 30:1) as Rachel was not able to bear any children. As we read down the passage in bible, the moment she realized her weakness and gave it into the hands of the Lord,  He listened to her and opened the womb (Genesis 30:22).

 What is the simple thing that we are holding today in our life without our knowledge?

 Here are few of my experiences that God had taught me during my blocking period. 

 The first and foremost lesson that I learnt is to surrender myself completely to the will of God. Which then brought changes within me. 

A heart to hear His word is the important and necessary tool to unblock the obstructed blessings in our life. To hear God’s voice, we have to turn down the volume of the world. Learning to hear God’s voice in everything we do will keep us on track to see the impossibilities in our life.

 In the life of Isaac we see that he was taken to the mountain top by his father Abraham. There was no lamp for the burnt offering. When Abraham was ready to tie the hands and legs of Isaac, he did not run away rather he obeyed his father. He could have easily ran from mountain as his father was old enough to run behind him and catch him but he did not and just obeyed his father. The great heart to sacrifice his own son and the implicit obedience to God's word made Abraham   the Father of Faith.

 

As we surrender ourselves completely as a sacrifice to God, he will mold us in His way ( Isaiah 64:8).

The small and little things in life that we don't realize are our words, the pride, the judgment of others, the gossips, the worldly pleasures, the jealousy nature, often we fail to listen and quick to get anger, our ancestor’s sins that follow us, our own sinful life, disobedience, disloyalty, inferiority complex, fear, unable to forgive others, ignoring our talents which God has placed within us, being arrogant, stubbornness, no time for God, short-temper, doubtfulness, ego. All these finally affect our body, soul and spirit.

 

 How can we rectify and unblock our blessings?

By wilfully allowing us to change according to His purpose. We can earn the fruit of His spirit like love, patience, understanding,  obedience,  slow to anger, helping others, taking good care of our relationship by words and deeds. Above all, our guidance is only from the Holy Spirit who is our master. The moment we are ready to accept that we are His masterpiece, life becomes beautiful and we become achievable person. The process is hard and tough but worth living when we look back our life after 10 years from now ( the process). Ready to Give our life and story into His hands?. Let God’s desire be ours.

We are called to live Coram Deo, defined as to live one’s entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the  glory of God.

 May God guide us to unblock the blessings in our lives and change us into his best version. Let us learn through our blocking season and give ourselves a chance to change our life to fulfill his plan in us.

God’s unfailing and unconditional love is forever.
